"I went to see Kara when she was part of a massage collective of practitioners, seeking a good pregnancy massage, as I had experienced a couple of majorly disappointing ones. She was flexible and available and had bolsters to support belly lying which I had been craving since side-lying was about all I could do after 20 weeks. She was the perfect combination of deep work while providing release and promoting relaxation; that's hard to do both. She uses a strong yet graceful fluidity in her touch and is very in-sync with her clients- i swear she picked up on my breathing and released the tightness out of my body with my out breaths, and navigated from one area of the body to the next seamlessly. I was an active participant along with her in promoting wellbeing in my body, while also able to fully let go. She was beginning her own practice with her partner and I wanted to follow and support her. Seeing her recently at her new location on Oak St. was just as wonderful! She is accessible and affordable.
